My second stay and nothing has changed...except that the bed cover had a very,very slight smell of cigarette at the corner. I have to say, for a busy weekend, and with only 2 rooms left ( and no reservation) we paid $46.00+tax. No AAA rate since the room was already discounted. I can't see any other place this close to Disneyland at this price. Clean, and a friendly, accommodating staff. Free breakfast is also a plus. An ideal place for us since we are only in the room for about 11 hours tops.

We booked this hotel 10 minutes before we arrived. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and very comfortable. There was a pool and hot tub, but we didn't have the time to use it. The hotel is located just down the street from Disneyland...less than a mile. They offer a shuttle service to and from the parks as well. We chose to drive to the parks as well. They offered a free continental breakfast as well. Overall we were extremely pleased with our stay and are planning a return trip in the near future and will stay here again.

The hotel is located right on the OCTA and ART bus routes. That makes it easy to get to any destination in Orange County. The pool is nice, the hot tub as well. The one thing that needed improvement was the continental breakfast. It was only toast, donuts, luke warm orange juice and lemonade and horrible coffee. We thought we would save ourselves from having to purchase one meal a day, but it definitely wasn't enough.

I wasn't paying for a four star hotel, so my expectations were in check. The staff was amazing for our one week stay. We had two rooms and 5 adults. We were in town for a conference, and it was exactly what we needed.

The rooms have been recently remodeled. I liked the fact that I could see the fireworks display from disneyland right outside my room. the staff was extremely pleasant and the rooms was very clean and updated. i would absolutely return to this hotel next time i take a trip to california. the room was great for what i paid.

A Jewel near Disneyland with large rooms

I was warmly greeted and quickly checked in to a huge, clean room with a real California King bed that was great. There was a mini refrigerator and micro and the bath and separate sink and coffee area were well stocked. The rooms all overlook a small but neat pool and great hot tub. There was nightly fireworks that was a great show. The people here were really all nice and helpful. There are so many restaurants and great shopping and attractions all around the property within a short drive. Great place to stay in the middle of OC.

It was a great rate in an expensive area. The hotel is what it is. Nothing special, pretty clean, good location. The continental breakfast is pretty weak, not much to it. The service that I received was very good. They were very helpful and I requested to change rooms because of noise, they were very accommodating. There was a surprise resort tax that I had to pay which I wasn't expecting. That was a bit annoying, but hey you're near the pit of perdition that is Disneyland, so what do you expect? Overall, if you're on a budget, this place is not fancy, but functional.

This place is not bad if you're on a budget and willing to hop on a shuttle to take you to Disneyland. The reason we chose this place is because we're gone all day, and we didn't need to get a high rating hotel to hold our luggage. This hotel was good for an average bed to sleep in and a clean bathroom to shower in. I didn't need anything fancy beyond that so this place was perfect. The staff was really nice here so it made it an overall nice stay. Plus there's continental breakfast; coffee, orange juice, toast and donut holes. There is a very small pool. They also sold the shuttle tickets to Disneyland in their lobby so that was convenient.

I enjoyed my stay at the Econolodge. Great price. The room was very clean and seemed as though it were brand new. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was super close to Disneyland, which was very nice. The only downside was the parking was a bit difficult (spaces were small and not much room to manuever around). Even with that I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking at a great place to stay.

The overall hotel was clean. The hotel was older but remodeled and was clean. The bed was comfortable. It was further from maingate than I thought, but I had already planned on parking in the park. It was lower priced than most of the hotels but overall was good and would stay there again.

Pleasant trip

We stayed at the Econolodge for 4 nights. We found the rooms to be very clean and updated. Those at the front desk were very very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again without any hesitation when or if we return to Disneyland again. I might be going down again in October and would definitely stay here again. And yes you can see the fireworks for the third floor balcony! They did not charge for parking and the grounds were very clean. Beds were very comfortable too. One suggestion, you do have fridges but need a microwave, that would be cherry on the cake! Thank you again for making this trip pleasant.

Stayed at the hotel for a couple of days and we really had a great time. The room was spacious, and the breakfast, though sparse and not too healthy, was free, so for a family on a budget, it was fine. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back!

Pleasant Surprise

I booked this hotel without really looking at any reviews about it. Just before I left my trip, I finally decided to check it out. I found nothing but bad reviews so that really started to scare me...But once I got there, I was pleasantly surprised...Yes the hotel is old and it does show its age, but it was a comfortable stay...The room was clean...The bed and pillows were super comfy..The staff was fantastic..I interacted with 3 employees and they were all fantastic. Everything I needed they helped me get in record time...My only complaint was the noise...I just had the bad luck of getting extremely noisy neighbors...The walls are thin so that really didn't help.

The most spacious hotel quite near disney

Our large group was able to stay comfortably in this hotel. Arriving late and staying two days we enjoyed a fast easy access to restaurants and the amusement park. Although the continental breakfast was weak compared to most, the roominess of the rooms made up for it. We enjoyed our stay. Parking was tough since we arrived so late but we did squeeze in.

the rooms are very clean and will stay again it is about one block to catch the bus but we that fun also if you want a clean place to sleep.then it works if you want a place to live in then stay home. we will stay again...the city bus is only 1.50 so we took the bus right to the park..sister had a great time..the hotel staff is very helpful..thank you very much..happy guest

It was neat and clean and very economical, we were very satisfied,even impressed. I had an issue with a charge on my final bill and they promptly corrected it. They were very friendly and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

My husband and I booked into this hotel for one night and stayed 6. All staff were friendly and helpful, the language barrier was not much of a problem at all. We were very comfortable in the beds we had over two units. Whilst it was not very close to Disneyland, it was not very far,we walked the first day but due to a leg injury we took the shuttle the other day. We bothe REALLY enjoyed the spa (hot tub,whirlpool) and the pool. The front of house staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the stay immensely. Thank you very much when we come to USA from Australia we will definitely stay again.

This motel was affordable,had excellent views of the fire works, and the staff was very helpful. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night! Oh and the hot tub is wonderful!!!

This hotel is good if you don’t want to cost a lot of money on living during a trip and still it doesn’t bring you any unsatisfaction. Only take 7 min, around to arrive at Disneyland gate. This hotel is doing what it can offer best at its start rating. I recommend this hotel to many of friends.

The hotel was very clean, quite and the staff tried hard. It did not have alot of amenities, but was not far from restaurants, bus lines and Disneyland parks.

we had the family suite 3 beds.. room was very clean, shower was very clean, clean floors,toilte too... i'm very pickey of rooms we will for sure stay there again, plus for the price i was very pleased... beds were very clean with blankets, bedspread, beds were actually comfty. i was even more shocked that there towels were even soft.. most of hotel towels are always soo ruff, were i take my own from home, so to feel there towels each day we got clean towels each day they were always nice soft.made it nice too cuz of shuttle to disneyland, you can buy shuttle pass from there office, it's only skip away from the hotel to get the shuttle, plus there is also Carrows resturant which also is very good in food and service.... i recomend this hotel for your stay....

We interacted with four people at this hotel between when we made reservations, discussed chaning them and during our visit. There is no doubt that we were dealing with kind, professional people who cared about us and our comfort. The customer service is way over the top and we will return.Please note that this is a budget accomodation. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable, but if you are looking for 3 star or higher accomodations this close to Disneyland, you need to find another place and plan on $110+ per night. For a 2 star walking distance with FREE parking, they get the job done and they will treat you with respect and kindness.By the way, it is a bit loud at night, so it is perfect if you are, too!

I had a wonderful stay in the Anaheim Maingate Econo Lodge. The room was large and very clean and the whirlpool was huge. Great service and amenities. I definitely recommend this hotel, it is a wonderful value.

This was a last minute trip to Disneyland and we decided to just head up for a couple days. When we stopped at a rest area just outside of calimesa, I decided to read a hotel pamphlet that showed lots of discounts. I saw the add for econolodge which was a really good offer, We arrived at the hotel and they took the offer with no questions and gave us an outstanding room. the clerk was extremely friendly and helpful. the room was immaculate and smelled really nice. We will definately be staying there again.

This was my first time in California, our trip purpose was going to Disneyland. I was very please with the service, first the persons at the reception were very kind and service; then the rooms were always clean and confortable, we like it very much. We were not disappointed for the hotel, yes it's a little far from Disney but the bus stop is only one block away and you're at Disney if you want to walk you can be there so fast. I have no bad comments... if one day I can go back I will stay here again.

As a college student, I looked for something that will give the most bang for my buck, and this was the best place. I went with my girlfriend to Disneyland and needed a place to sleep. Rooms were nice and had everything i needed. Staff was SO HELPFUL. WILL STAY AGAIN

this was by far the best place we stayed and the best deal around. it was clean, staff was excellent, couldn't ask for a better location highly recommend to friends pool, working hot tub, frig, in room safe, reasonable shuttle service, felt safe, watched fireworks from balcony- good view too.

We are young ( 21 and 31) so not planning to stay at hotel much-- for $50 a night, I was not expected GREAT.. it was awesome for the price! Very clean rooms, about 15 min walk to Disneylan ( you can grab a Starbucks on the way) and friendly staff. He called once we got into our room to make sure it was OK. No compliants! The grounds are pretty with lots of greenery
